What made you decide to begin an online website business?

We are in 6 different craft malls in Texas and 2 in Missouri and when the economy started to decline, We thought it would be a good time to start an online website business to have world wide exposure

How long have you been “crafting”?

My mom and I  started out just doing local craft shows in the city that we lived in and then branched out into craft malls.  We have been crafting for over 30 years.

  How long have you had your website business?

A lot of people we have meet over the years kept asking "When are you getting a website", so we had one design for us by Donna @ Gone Country Graphics in late October of 2009.

 Are you the sole owner of your business, or do you have help with your business?  

My Mom and I own the business jointly.  My Dad also helps with cutting the wood.  

What do you enjoy the most about your business and “crafting”?

There are a lot of things that we enjoy about our crafting business. However, the freedom of being accessible to our families and still work on creating new projects is great

 Do you specialize in a specific product or craft?

We sell a lot of Teacher, Patriotic, Primitive and Home Decor. We love learning and trying new things as the trends change.

 Do you have any advice for others who would like to create an online business?

Advertise, there are a lot of country and primitive sites that you can get inexpensive advertising with, like The Rusty Rooster. Most importantly keep adding new products to your website and be very patient.
